Embark on a spine-chilling adventure alongside author Jeff Provine as he unravels the mysteries of haunted locations in Visiting Haunts. Prepare to step into the realm of the supernatural as Jeff guides you through a collection of eerie destinations that are not only steeped in history but are also open for intrepid travelers like yourself.
“I’m so thrilled to have the chance to help share some of the amazing spooky stories and hidden histories that people otherwise may never hear,” said Jeff Provine.
To celebrate the launch of the new TV series from The Show Starts Now, we’re having a free watch party at Legally Brewed in Downtown Norman. Arrive at 7 p.m. for the meet-and-greet with host and author Jeff Provine. Enjoy an early access screening of an episode of Visiting Haunts at 7:30, followed by a Q&A session.
What should I wear?
You are welcome to dress fancy, like at a Hollywood premiere, or casually as if going to a brewery with friends. You can even wear something from our Spooky appeal collection.
Will Legally Brewed be having any specials that night?
Yes, Legally Brewed will have $1 off all 6oz wine pours as part of their regular Wine Down Wednesday from 5 pm to 9 pm.
Will there be closed captions?
Yes, the episode we showcase will feature English burned-in closed captions for you to enjoy the show better.
Will this event be live-streamed?

Jeff Provine likes to wear a lot of different hats. From his love of spooky stories, he has published several collections of haunted Oklahoma folklore books and leads ghost tours in Norman and Oklahoma City. From his love of comics, his The Academy webcomic ran 2003-2013, and Okie Comics continues to deliver Oklahoma stories by Oklahoma creators. And from his love of speculative fiction, he has published several novels as well as the This Day in Alternate History blogging project for a twist on history for every day of the year. He also serves as a Professor of English at OCCC.
